Not a good way to end an amazing year!

So Brad and I woke up New Years Eve, Eve, to a broken in car! I walked downstairs with Brad and noticed there was a ton of glass on the ground, to our surprise someone had broken his back window of his car! They luckily didn't steal his golf clubs, but took many other things! We spent the rest of the day canceling credit cards, getting new locks on things, and trying to stay calm! It is such a horrible feeling when things like this happen, we just got to remember it could be worse!!

Christmas Time At the RV's

Sadly I don't have any pictures for this.. hopefully someone will send me some that they took. This year was one for the books, first of all it was Brad and my 5 month anniversary. Secondly it was my first Christmas away from the Welling family, and SNOW!! I admit, I shed a few tears (of course Brad doesn't know this). However, spending Christmas with my best friend was definitely the best present I could have received. We ate lots and lots of dessert, and slept a ton. I got used to taking daily naps. :) Its crazy to think that last year Brad came to Utah to surprise me! What a wonderful year.

What happens at the Crab Shack stays...

Brad and I attended the 101st Newport Beach Boat Parade with some great friends of ours. We went and at a Joe's Crab Shack and watched as the decorated boats went by. It was lots of fun once we got there... but a pain and half to find parking and get reservations. Next year we plan to rent a duffy and be a boat. :)

Gobble Gobble and a 12 hour Drive

So Brad and I drove up to Utah for Thanksgiving, I slept most the way and Brad drove, he is amazing! Once we got up there we went 4-wheeling, and spent lots of time with the family and this cute little one! He is adorable and I miss him already.

4 months of what I'm grateful for!

So I cannot believe it has been 4 months already!! This month I want to do something different, instead of what I have learned I'm going to do what I'm grateful for since its Thanksgiving and all.
1- For memories, and childhood videos.
2 - For my faith, and the chance to be with Brad not just until we die, but forever.
3 - An amazing family, I have been raised by the best parents ever.
4 - Amazing friends, who will be that forever.
5 - Pinkberry, Yogurtland, Goldenspoon, anything that craves my sweet tooth! I hope there is yogurt in heaven!
6 - My job, I have been here 7 years and have met some of the greatest people - most that have moved on, but they will always be part of my family.
7 - For a small world, its amazing the people you meet that connects you to someone.
8 - Music, and car dance parties, they make a 12 hour drive seem shorter.
9- Naps and cuddle dates.
10- Laughter, and smiles.. I know that sounds cheezy.. but really. It makes life so much better!
The End!

New Moon with the Parents

Yes, you read that right, this past weekend Brad and I went out to Palm Springs to visit Mom and Dad Arave. Well it was also the same weekend New Moon came out, so what did we all do? Went and saw it! It was hilarious.. anytime the girls would swoon I got a little embarrassed for Dad Arave and Brad, it was pure entertainment. I loved it, and in 1 in the 10 movies I have seen this year I stayed awake the WHOLE time. Also, I am still team Edward, I just feel like a child pedifile thinking a 17 year old looks good with his shirt off.

We wanted to ride the zamboni.. maybe next time!

We went to the Kings Hockey game with the lovely Briana Walker  she's famous, and beautiful and one of our favorite people to hang out with. One of the best parts about it was, as we were standing in line a guy came over and asked if we wanted to join him in his suite, uh yes! For free! Here are some pictures. Oh yea, and I got bangs again!

Speaking of zamboni, ever wonder where it started? Look here!

What a Hunk!

So I must have done something right.. because my husband is so attractive. I hope I don't embarrass him too much, but I found this picture on my computer today, I think its from his days up at BYU. He is pretty much the best looking thing I've seen. Just wanted you all to know.

Three Months and two weeks!

Okay, I'm a little late on this one.. and its not because I didn't remember or because marriage isn't still awesome! I have been so busy!! Two weekends ago I went to Utah for a friends wedding.
1- Being apart SUCKS, I never recommend doing it.
2- I've realized I'm not the only newlywed that gets upset when the toilet seat isn't down (I actually feel in, in the middle of the night, funny now.. not then!
3- Cuddle dates are the best dates ever!
4- Saturdays now equal running errands and doing stuff around the house. Which I totally love!
5- Thank You cards.. no comment!
6- Going to other weddings are now wonderful, you get to re-enjoy the memory of your day.
7- My new signature is finally kicking in and I actually am starting to really like the look of it.
8- I love being called Mrs. Arave (I just don't love pronouncing it) :)
9- When you have a bad day the best thing is coming home and crying to your best friend.
10- My husband looks amazing in a suit.. amen.

Serving in LA

So Brad and I were lucky enough to work half day yesterday and go to the Los Angeles LDS temple. We went up with our Stake and were there from 12-9pm!! It was an amazing experience to be there all day. Of course we were exhausted but a good exhaustion. I love this place!!

The Hulk?

So our friend Phil was telling Brad about how great Facials are. So I told Brad I would give him one.. this is the result. I think he should be the Hulk for Halloween. What do you think?

There's no place like home.

So our place is getting all the great little details that we both like. Brad got his TV.

And I got to have my picture wall.

If you want to see what the pictures are click for a closer look. Most of it has meaning.. the rest are just randoms that we both like. Believe it or not, most of these frames I found at Goodwill.

Pictures Revealed

So lots of you have been asking for pictures of Brad and my place. I have been really hesitant to release them as we have added things here and there. However, here is a sneak peak of some of our favorite spots so far.

Here is our kitchen area/dining area. My BF Jenn from Utah gave us the picture behind our table. We love it, as that is where we were married.. yup that Castle!

If I were on a filming of "The Cribs" I would say.. "This is where the magic happens" This is our room.

And last but not least, our little patio. This is our favorite project so far. We put some green turf down, and lights. The picture doesn't do it justice. Brad is eventually going to put a little puting green out here. Ha! I will put some plants.. so stay tuned for the finishing product.

We were on a boat!

So sorry Bracey fans, I have been so busy this week with my new promotion at work (I am now Assistant Online Merchandiser) that I have really had no time to Blog. So this is what has happened this week.

Friday night we went to our friends Brandon and Nicole Dinsbach's Wedding. It was wonderful, and was on a yacht. So we cruised around with our friends on the Newport Harbor. So fun. Saturday we went to my wonderful friend at work Tiranan's 30th Birthday party. So fun, and hung out with work people all day.

Sunday Brad and I had the lovely task to speak in our new family ward at church. Let me just say.. I am happy its over with. I have the hardest time speaking in public.

It's Miley!!

Happy Friday!

2 whole months!

Woweeee! Time has flown, I cannot believe today we are celebrating our 2 month anniversary!

This picture taken exactly a year ago.
Here are some new things I have learned in the 2nd month of marriage.

1- I need to learn to communicate better.
2- Life becomes a lot easier, but a lot busier once your married.
3 - Your weekends consist of home projects, no longer going to parties.
4 - Cable and College Football = Brad non existent
5 - I need to stock up on Peanut Butter Oreo's - which is Brads midnight snack
6- Switching your name on things is such a pain the in the behind!!
7 - I now have to think twice before signing my name.
8 - You feel like adults now around your parents and family.
9 - When you get hit on you feel really weird, its not flattering, and you feel bad for the person hitting on you.. hello, thats why there is a ring. :)
10 - Brad becomes my best friend more and more everyday!

Wedding #2

No.. I didn't get married again, sillies!! But I did get to dress up in my wedding dress again and stand by my husband and introduce him to all my childhood friends! We had our open house/reception in Utah in my parents back yard. My mom and dad have always wanted to have one of the kids have their reception in the backyard. Well since I'm the baby, and yes most spoiled people would say.. I made their wish come true. My mom and dad and pretty much the whole town of Fielding helped my parents re-do our backyard so that it was picture perfect. They did an amazing job!

It was so great to see such great friends and be able to feel like a princess again! Thanks to all that came!

My lovely sisters and mom! Love you!!

Friends FOREVER! The Olsen sisters, and Brooke.. Love this picture!
Brad's friend Josh from BYU.. yes he is very tall, which is why we had Brad stand RIGHT next to him.

Brad's Mission President and his lovely wife.

Brandon Perry and his cute girlfriend (we hope, she was a doll)

Brad's first County Fair!

Brad was so excited to meet this cow, the owner was a little girl named Hannah, and this is her steer named Montana. Also notice his hat, my dad didn't want him making a fool of himself at the rodeo so he made him wear one of his Welling Livestock Hats.

He met all kinds of animals, chickens, bunnies, and roosters.

We went to the rodeo with my best friend Brookie! We had so much fun!

And Brad kissing the cows at the fair.

Brad the Builder.

So Brad feels like a real man now a days. He has a tool set, a drill, and lives with his best looking roommate ever. (Or so he says). So we bought two dressers from Ikea that Brad learned to assemble, the first one took about 5 hours, the next I got tired of counting. :)

We then bought our bed, which was much easier, I think this took about an hour.

Thanks Brad for all your man-work!

Most worn out Rainbows ever!

So right after Brad and I got engaged, I decided it was finally time for me to buy Brad some new rainbows.. since the ones he currently had are ridiculous. See picture below..

Well the new ones lasted about two months, till we went to Lake Shasta when they somehow went missing. Secretly.. I think Brad threw them overboard because he wanted to wear his old ones again.

Such a hunk!

Want to see this and many other great pictures, actually ALL our wedding pictures done by the talented Mike Cunnigham click here.

10 Things I've learned my first month of marriage

Happy Month Anniversary Babe!

1 - Dance often in your new home, its a great workout and is a lot of fun.
2 - Cooking for two is a lot better than cooking for one.
3 - Waking up to someone everyone morning has definitely made it worth the wait.
4 - Saturdays are now my favorite days - Yummy Breakfasts
5 - Coming back to work after 2 weeks vacation is the worst thing invented.
6 - Getting used to having the toilet seat up.
7 - Having to pronounce my new last name.. its RV, not that complicated.
8 - Love that Brad looks so sharp going to work, suits and ties.. yes please!
9 - Guys just need to get used to the fact that they get less than half of the closet. Girls just have more stuff.
10 - Marry your best friend, life will never be boring.
